  • After worldwide travels to festivals we are happy to announce the invitation to the 
  • Festival International de Films de Femmes de Créteil, 
  • where HOTEL SAHARA will have its France premiere. 
  • The festival takes place from April 2nd to 11th in Creitel, France.
  • 11/2009 The Goethe Insitute in Shanghai will show HOTEL SAHARA within the
    German-Chinese Doc-Film-Forum on the topic of “globalisation – migration –
    home”, which takes place from November 27th until December 13th in Shanghai,
    China.
    In between HOTEL SAHARA travels to the Indie Space Festival in Seoul, Korea
    from December 3rd to 6th.

    The exhibition “Die ideale Ausstellung" at the ACC Galerie Weimar
    presents HOTEL SAHARA on Tuesday, October 6th at 8 pm.
    Bettina Haasen will join the screening

  • HOTEL SAHARA is delighted about the invitations from festivals all over the world.
  • First of all the director Bettina Haasen will present her documentary on the Human Rights Film Festival in Nuremberg. On October 1st the film will be screened at 6:45 pm in the Nuremberg Festsaal. At 08:30pm a podium discussion organized by medico international takes place.
  • The festival tour continues in Korea, where the film will be presented in Paju within the DMZ – Korean international Documentary Festival from October 21st to 26th under the attendance of Bettina Haasen.
  • Meanwhile the Film Festival SENAF takes place in Nouakchott, Mauretania where HOTEL SAHARA will be screened during the "National Week of Film" from October 23rd to 29th.
  • On its way from Korea to Mauretania HOTEL SAHARA stops over at Jihlava, Czech Republic, where the film will be presented at the IDFF – Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival from October 27th to November 1st within the Doc Alliance Section.
  • After having a short break HOTEL SAHARA travels to Copenhagen where it will be screened at the CPH:DOX – International Documentary Film Festival from November 6th to 15th.
  • Right afterwards the film travels together with Bettina Haasen to New York, where it is presented on November 14th at 02:00pm by the Margarete Mead Film & Video Festival which takes place from November 12th to 15th.
  • At the Starz Denver Film Festival, which takes place from November 12th to 22nd in Denver, USA the festival tour of HOTEL SAHARA will end for now.

  • HOTEL SAHARA will be screened again on DOK Leipzig Filmfestival within the award of the Doc Alliance section. The exhibition takes place on Wednesday, October 28th at 4:30pm in the cinema Passage Kino Universum.

  • We are happy to announce that our documentary HOTEL SAHARA will participate at the 33rd Margarete Mead Film & Video Festival, which takes place from November 12th to 15th at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.
